The International Organization for Standardization (ISO) has released ISO/TS 16949. This standard is suitable for Automotive Industries. It is a Quality Management System Standard. ISI/CE marking is applicable for products, where as ISO/TS 16949 is applicable for the Systems of an organization, like procedures, practices etc. To Manage the processes (activities) of an organization effectively, a system must be designed and implemented as per ISO/TS16949. The third party certification bodies, based on the certification audit performed, issue certificate of conformance to ISO/TS 16949:2002.

What is the AAQMS role in obtaining ISO/TS 16949:2002 Certification for your organization?
AAQMS role is to Design systems according to ISO/TS 16949:2002 in your organization and to train the members to implement and maintain systems as per ISO/TS 16949:2002.

The Project period varies from 6 to 12 months depends on the amount of work involved in this project. Scope of our work in this project will be as follows.

1. Preparation of Draft Document templates & Formats templates to meet ISO/TS 16949:2002 Standard
2. Awareness training to the customer’s staff for implementation of ISO/TS 16949:2002
3. Preparation of Draft Quality Manual & Procedures as per ISO/TS 16949:2002
4. Providing Internal Auditors Training and Conducting One Internal Audit (pre-assessment audit)
5. Participating in the Certification Audit (as an external observer)

What is the Customer’s Role in this project?
